Reverra™ Peptide Strips: What Does the Research Say?

Peptides have become a major topic in the wellness world. You may have seen names like BPC-157, GHK-Cu, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, NAD+, and glutathione online and wondered what they actually are—and what the science really says.

At Skippack Pharmacy, we believe new wellness products should come with more than marketing. That’s why we took a closer look at Reverra™ oral dissolvable strips and the research behind the ingredients in their five formulas.

What Are Peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins. Many occur naturally in the body and play roles in cellular signaling and other biological processes.

Researchers are studying different peptides for areas such as recovery, skin health, metabolism, and hormone signaling.

One important thing to remember: research on an ingredient does not automatically prove that every product, dose, or delivery method containing that ingredient will have the same effect.

That is especially important with newer oral peptide products.

What Are Reverra™ Peptide Strips?

Reverra offers oral dissolvable strips designed to be placed in the mouth and allowed to dissolve. They are individually packaged, require no water, and according to the manufacturer, do not require refrigeration.

The five formulas include:

  • Recovery: BPC-157
  • Vitality: NAD+
  • Glow: GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500
  • Performance: CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
  • Detox: Glutathione

So, what do we know about the ingredients?

Recovery — BPC-157

BPC-157 has received a lot of attention for its potential role in tissue and recovery research.

Most of the available evidence, however, comes from laboratory and animal studies. Human research remains very limited.

Vitality — NAD+

NAD+ is a naturally occurring molecule that plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism.

There is human research showing that certain NAD+ precursors, such as nicotinamide riboside and NMN, can increase NAD+ levels in the body.

However, most of that research did not study direct NAD+ delivered through an oral dissolvable strip.

Glow — GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500

GHK-Cu is a copper-binding peptide that has been researched for its role in skin and tissue biology.

Thymosin beta-4, which is related to what is commonly marketed as TB-500, has also been studied in wound-healing research.

The important distinction is that much of the available human research has involved topical or other formulations, not this exact combination in an oral strip.

Detox — Glutathione

Glutathione is naturally produced by the body and plays an important role in antioxidant defense.

Compared with some of the other ingredients, glutathione has more direct human oral supplementation research. Studies have shown that oral glutathione can increase glutathione levels in the body under certain conditions.

Those studies did not evaluate the Reverra strip specifically, but glutathione has a larger body of human oral data behind it.

Performance — CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin have been researched because of their effects on growth hormone signaling.

Human studies have shown biological effects from these ingredients, but those studies generally used injections or other routes of administration rather than oral dissolvable strips.

So, Are Peptide Strips Proven?

The answer depends on the ingredient.

There is real scientific research behind many of these molecules. Some have human data, while others rely much more heavily on animal, laboratory, topical, or injectable research.

What we have less information about is the specific oral dissolvable-strip formulations themselves.

That doesn’t mean the research should be ignored. It simply means we need to be clear about what has actually been studied.

At Skippack Pharmacy, our goal is to help patients understand what we know, what we’re still learning, and where marketing may be getting ahead of the evidence.

Why Is Skippack Pharmacy Talking About Peptides?

Because patients are already talking about them.

New wellness products are appearing online and on social media every day, and we want our patients to have a trusted place where they can ask questions.
