“Thank you so much for the quick organization of this clinic to get our little ones vaccinated. When we received the news that our daughter could finally be vaccinated, we immediately looked into how we could get her the first dose and were so disappointed at how hard it proved to be to protect her. We breathe easy tonight knowing our daughter received her first dose today. Thank you for going above and beyond to serve your community.” -K. Riley (mom of these little superheroes)

Our goal from day 1 was to provide access to as many of our community who chooses to get vaccinated, access to the vaccine. We’ve continued that with our youngest and have made appointments available throughout the day to help accommodate. Another successful day of nearly 100 more children 3-5 vaccinated.

Details & appointment scheduling along with any updates on upcoming clinics will be shared on our social media and here:

Sending a huge congratulations to the Edward’s family who gave us two superstars these past few years. Congrats to Jason on graduating and for all of your help through a critical time at the pharmacy during COVID helping countless patients. Jason will be joining his sister, Jocelyn, at Pitt. Fun fact, his sister was our first pharmacy intern & designer of the “I Fought Back” logo which is on thousands of t-shirts.

We will miss you Jason & know you are going to do amazing 👏
Let’s face it, kids don’t like shots…and most adults don’t either. We’ve had families from over 45 mins away come to our clinics either off site or at the pharmacy to get a different experience. Messages like this keep us going!

No matter what corner or part of the state or country you are in, the pandemic has put into perspective how important your local independent pharmacy & small businesses are to the framework of the community. Yes, they’ve been there to provide you vaccines, but they’ve also been there to drop your medication off at 11pm at night when you’ve had a sick child, they’ve been there to check up on grandma when you live out of state and don’t have anyone else who can go check up on her.

Unfortunately, there are many things that our community and patients don’t see that we face on a daily basis:

• insurance payments below the cost of drugs we purchase (yes, in pharmacy, it’s an everyday thing that we can lose money providing products or services but the three letter pharmacy up the street could be getting reimbursed three times more than us on it)
• patients being steered or forced to use PBM/insurance-owned retail pharmacies and mail order (give us a fair playing field and see where your patients will go)
• the list goes on but instead of complaining we will advocate and let our stories be heard until change happens at every level

Today, we had an opportunity to voice the stories of our teams, patients and communities to PA Attorney Josh Shapiro who listened with open ears and offered his support.

It only takes one voice at the right pitch to start an avalanche…independent pharmacies will not stop fighting for our patients.

No child, baby, or family should go hungry. We have received a shipment of baby formula and are donating 100% of your purchase to our favorite local food banks.

1) Purchase a can of baby formula powder or liquid
2) 100% of the amount you pay will be used to buy additional formula & food to donate to Manna on Main Street & Daily Bread Community Food Pantry
Great review from Dara... "Carly Jesperson is one of the hardest working employees I have seen in awhile. And always pleasant and with a smile on her face. She goes above and beyond! Thank you for employing someone with her compassion and work ethic!"

Great review from Jackie... "Skippack Pharmacy is the most accommodating pharmacy in the area. I live in Pottstown, but have gone out of my way to go to Skippack Pharmacy for all of my Covid-19 needs. Anytime I have needed a vaccine or a test, I have gone to Skippack. They have worked so hard to make testing available, even when there were five hour waits at urgent care and I was being turned away everywhere else and at home tests were unavailable everywhere else back in December/January. I am immunocompromised and I always know Skippack will be sure to get me scheduled for a booster as soon as I am eligible.

Skippack Pharmacy is so much more reliable than the big chain pharmacies. They are so friendly. They make sure you know you are able to pick up 8 at home tests in if your insurance covers it, N95 masks free from the government and they have really cute t-shirts for a $5 donation, which goes towards helping those who do not have the means to pay for their medical care. I can't say enough good things about this pharmacy! As someone who has had multiple surgeries and has dealt with many pharmacies in the area, I can truly say this is the best one."
A few of our local supermoms from our community reached out to us to find out if we carry any baby formula. For those who don’t know, there is a national shortage of baby formula and many mothers (including those in our local area) are struggling to find it for their little ones.

Through the past couple years we’ve had hard to find items and will try our best to bring those items to Skippack and surrounding areas. While we do not have a source to purchase baby formula from, as we have served in the past, we will be a resource & intermediary for the community to connect.

If you are a local parent who has extra baby formula, samples, or enough to provide other families, you can drop it off to the pharmacy & we will provide it to any parents who reach out.

If you are a local parent who finds a place that has it, feel free to post the store name and location in the comments.

If you are a local parent who has no luck, comment below or send us a message & we’ll keep you posted.

CDC immunization site visit: PASSED ✅

“This is how immunizations are to be done. A ‘model pharmacy’ others can learn from.” The PA Department of Health & CDC have been key players in the distribution of vaccines to our pharmacy and in guidance with an agreement, we were due for a site visit. We passed with flying colors and the CDC field inspector left with a smile on her face. The experience we want each patient or patron to walk out with. Here’s a glimpse of our new immunization center inside Skippack Pharmacy.

Thank you to our team of superheroes who have set the highest standard when it comes to safety, administration, and logistics involving the COVID-19 vaccine initiative.

Get boosted:

We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacy intern to join our team this summer! This statewide program allows you to be a change agent in independent, community pharmacy by applying practice transformation concepts at our pharmacy. You will collaborate with other interns and learn from pharmacist subject matter experts across the state to develop and enhance patient care services, specifically centered around cardiovascular health.
