HORMONE MEDICATION SHORTAGE SUPPORT
Having Trouble Finding Your Estradiol Patch or Progesterone?
Shortages of estradiol patches, progesterone capsules, and other hormone medications can make staying on therapy frustrating. Skippack Pharmacy has created a dedicated process to review medication availability, insurance options, prescription transfers, and other possible next steps.
Availability varies by medication, strength, manufacturer, wholesaler supply, and insurance coverage.

Before You Submit
Before starting, have the following ready: current hormone medication and strength, current pharmacy, prescribing provider, prescription insurance card if applicable, and your preferred pickup/shipping option.
Already getting your hormone medication from Skippack Pharmacy?
You do not need to submit the form again unless your medication or dose has changed.

Why Are Estradiol Patches and Progesterone Hard to Find?
Hormone medication availability can change quickly. Certain estradiol patches, progesterone capsules, and other hormone products may be harder to obtain depending on the strength, dosage form, manufacturer, and current wholesaler supply.
This means one strength or manufacturer may be available while another is temporarily limited or unavailable.
At Skippack Pharmacy, our team works to review current availability and explore possible options when we can. If you’re having trouble finding your medication, submit a Hormone Medication Shortage Request and our team will review your specific medication and strength.
Please do not stop, change, or substitute your medication without first speaking with your prescriber or pharmacist.
Why Skippack Pharmacy Got Involved
“Drug shortages are about more than whether a medication is simply ‘in stock.’ When medications become difficult to obtain, pharmacies may have to search multiple suppliers, navigate rapidly changing acquisition costs, work through insurance reimbursement issues and coordinate with patients and prescribers. Skippack Pharmacy created this dedicated process after patients throughout the community began reaching out for help.”

Help Us Keep Requests Organized
Because hormone medication availability can change quickly, our dedicated shortage team handles these requests through the form above rather than through routine phone or in-store inventory checks. This helps us accurately review your medication, strength, coverage and available options.
Already submitted your request? If you haven’t received a response within one business day, text 267-766-0076.”
