Having trouble finding your ADHD medication?

Medication shortages can make filling an ADHD prescription frustrating and stressful. Skippack Pharmacy has created a streamlined request process to help eligible patients determine whether we may be able to assist.

Availability changes frequently and submitting a request does not guarantee that medication will be available.

Before You Submit a Request

📝 Prescription
Please wait to have your prescriber send a prescription until our team contacts you and confirms that we may be able to assist.

Why Are ADHD Medications Still Difficult to Find?

National supply disruptions have affected a number of stimulant medications and dosage forms over the past several years. Availability can vary considerably by medication, strength, manufacturer, wholesaler and location—which means one strength may be obtainable while another remains difficult to find.

Recent ASHP shortage bulletins updated in June 2026 continued to identify shortages affecting amphetamine and methylphenidate products, which is why I would keep this page as a permanent resource rather than treating it as a temporary announcement.

Help Us Help You Faster

Because ADHD medication inventory changes quickly, shortage requests are handled through our dedicated form rather than through routine in-store inventory inquiries.

Using the form allows the appropriate team member to review the exact medication and strength requested and provide the correct next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

ADHD Medication Shortage FAQs

Do you have Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta or Focalin available right now?

Availability changes frequently by medication, strength and manufacturer. Because inventory can change rapidly, our pharmacy team cannot provide ADHD medication availability through routine phone or in-person requests. Please use our ADHD Medication Request Form.

Does submitting the form guarantee I'll receive my medication?

No. Submitting the form allows our team to review your request and contact you if we may be able to assist. It does not guarantee availability.

Should my doctor send my prescription now?

No. Please wait until our team contacts you and tells you that we may be able to assist before having your prescriber send the prescription.

Can you help me if I live more than 20 miles from Skippack?

This program is currently limited to patients within 20 miles of Skippack Pharmacy.

Can you fill an ADHD prescription from my telehealth provider?

Not through the current shortage program. The form states that Skippack is unable to fill controlled-substance prescriptions from telehealth or online prescribers through this process.

Do you have brand-name ADHD medications?

The current program is focused on select generic ADHD medications.

Is there a fee?

Submitting the request itself doesn’t automatically mean a fee applies. In certain situations requiring additional pharmacist review, coordination or special procurement, the form states that a $20 Medication Access Consultation Fee may apply. Patients are notified before proceeding.
