Do you have the new 2026–2027 COVID vaccine?
YES. We currently have Pfizer 12+, Moderna 12+, Moderna 65+, Pfizer 5–11, and Moderna 3–11 available. Novavax 12+ is coming soon.
I received my COVID vaccine at Skippack last year. What do I do?
Come back just like you have in previous years.
When completing our online registration, select YES when asked whether you have previously received a vaccine through Skippack Pharmacy. This may allow you to bypass many demographic questions already associated with your previous vaccination record.
Do I need another COVID vaccine this year?
If you received a COVID vaccine last year, you can still get this year’s updated vaccine.
COVID vaccines are updated from season to season to better match the strains that are circulating, similar to the way flu vaccines are updated each year. The 2026–2027 COVID vaccine has been updated for this season.
For most people, if it has been more than 3 months since your last COVID-19 vaccine, you are eligible for the new one.
I'm 65 or older. Will I need two doses this season?
People age 65 and older and those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised are at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19. Protection from vaccination can also decrease over time, especially in older adults and people whose immune systems may not build or maintain as strong of a response.
That is why an additional dose later in the season can help boost protection when you need it most.
In the past years, many seniors have received vaccines every 6 months. We anticipate the same with this year’s vaccine.
I got my last COVID-19 vaccine more than 3 months ago. Can I get the new vaccine?
Yes.
If your last COVID-19 vaccine was more than 3 months ago, you may be eligible to receive this season’s updated vaccine now, depending on your age, vaccine history, and the product being used.
The reason for another dose is simple: COVID changes over time, and protection from previous vaccination gradually decreases. This year’s vaccine has been updated for the current season, helping refresh your immune system’s protection against the virus strains expected to circulate.
This is especially important for older adults and people who are immunocompromised, because they have a greater risk of hospitalization and other serious complications from COVID-19.

I recently had COVID. Should I still get vaccinated?
Yes — but you may want to wait about 3 months after your COVID infection.
Having COVID gives you some temporary immune protection, so waiting about 3 months from when you tested positive or when your symptoms began can help improve the timing of your next vaccine dose.
After that, getting the updated COVID vaccine can help refresh and broaden your protection, especially as immunity from infection decreases over time and new strains continue to circulate.

Are pediatric COVID vaccines available yet?
YES. Skippack Pharmacy currently has Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for ages 5 years to 11 years old, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for ages 3 years to 11 years old, and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for babies 6 months to 2 years old.
Do you vaccinate children?
Yes. Our pharmacy vaccination team vaccinates children ages 3 and older. We currently have Moderna for ages 3–11 and Pfizer for ages 5–11. Children under age 3 are vaccinated during designated nurse-supported pediatric vaccination times when available.
Can I get Flu and COVID together?
YES.
You can receive your flu and COVID vaccines during the same visit when appropriate.
You may also choose to receive them separately. The choice is yours.
Do you have Novavax?
The updated Novavax vaccine is coming soon.
We have not yet been given a confirmed availability date. Join our interest list and we’ll notify you when it arrives.
Can I receive other vaccines at the same appointment?
Our registration form allows you to select multiple vaccines, including pneumonia, RSV, shingles, Tdap, hepatitis vaccines and others.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are permitted.
However, appointments are strongly recommended because completing your information ahead of time allows us to prepare for your visit and provides a much faster check-in experience.
Appointments receive express entry whenever possible.
What if I don't have insurance?
Please reach out to us.
For flu and COVID-19 vaccination, our goal is to help find an option for everyone, including uninsured patients whenever available programs and supply allow.

Can you vaccinate someone who is homebound?
Yes. Skippack Pharmacy offers homebound vaccination services for patients who are unable to safely come to the pharmacy.
Our team can bring eligible vaccines directly to the patient’s home, based on location, vaccine availability, and scheduling. For the 2026 fall season, homebound COVID-19 and flu vaccination visits are expected to begin in October.
If you or a loved one is homebound, we encourage you to submit a request early so our team can review the information and help coordinate the visit.

Our MobileVax program makes it easy to host convenient on-site vaccination clinics for workplaces, schools, churches, senior communities, municipalities, organizations, and community events.
