Support For Eligible Children
Skippack Pharmacy can help eligible children access school required vaccines through available vaccine-access programs when requirements are met. This may be especially helpful for students who are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise eligible for program-based vaccine access. Eligibility and vaccine availability vary, and our team can review options before the clinic.
Skippack Pharmacy is one of two pharmacies in Pennsylvania that participates in VFC vaccine access for eligible children, helping families access important vaccines regardless of insurance status when program requirements are met.

Do students need parent/guardian consent?
Yes. Students who are minors must have parent or guardian consent before receiving a vaccine. Skippack Pharmacy can help coordinate registration and consent forms before the clinic so the process is organized and efficient on clinic day.
Can you help with school-required vaccines?
Yes. Skippack Pharmacy may be able to help students access school-required vaccines when appropriate. Vaccine availability depends on the student’s age, vaccine history, eligibility, insurance status, program requirements, and product availability.
Can uninsured or underinsured students receive vaccines?

What paperwork is required?
For most clinics, we use a HIPAA-secure, online consent and sign-up form. This form is filled out prior to the clinic. This allows us to obtain each individual’s information. Then we can bill insurance and solve any issues ahead of time. We will provide paper consent forms and gather information from patients who were unable to sign up ahead of time.
What vaccinations do you offer?
Common school clinic vaccines may include flu, COVID-19, Tdap/DTaP, MMR, varicella, HPV, meningococcal, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and other eligible vaccines based on age, need, recommendations, and availability.

How are the vaccinations billed?
Skippack Pharmacy bills insurance whenever possible. Participants may be asked to provide insurance information during registration so our team can review coverage before the clinic when possible. Any out-of-pocket cost, if applicable, depends on the participant’s insurance, eligibility, vaccine requested, and current program availability.
What does the school need to provide?
Most clinics need a clean, accessible space with tables, chairs, and enough room for check-in, vaccination, and post-vaccine observation when needed. Access to Wi-Fi, nearby parking, and a main day-of contact are also helpful. Skippack Pharmacy brings the vaccine supplies, clinical materials, and vaccination team.
Who administers the immunizations?
Each clinic is run by immunization-certified members of our team. The number of immunizers that come to the clinic depends on the number of people that signed up for the clinic.
How long does each clinic last?
Our mobile vaccination clinics are very organized! We come prepared to vaccinate everyone that signs up. The length of the clinic depends on the number of people getting vaccinated.
