Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

Yes, signing up ahead of time is strongly recommended. This helps our team prepare the correct vaccines and review insurance information before the clinic.

You are able to do walk-ins for flu and COVID-19 vaccines. However, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, and Tdap vaccines are available by appointment only.

How do I sign up?

Please use the sign-up button on this page to complete the vaccine clinic form before the event.

I received vaccines from Skippack Pharmacy before. Do I still need to register?

Yes. Please register so we know which vaccines you are interested in receiving at this event. If you previously received vaccines from Skippack Pharmacy, there is a question on the sign-up form which asks you this & if you select yes, it will skip many of the same questions we have asked you before.

Which vaccines will be offered?

Skippack Pharmacy will be offering COVID-19 vaccines, including Moderna or Pfizer, as well as Flu, RSV, pneumonia, shingles, and Tdap vaccines.

Can I receive another COVID-19 vaccine if I already had one before?

Yes, many people may be eligible for another COVID-19 vaccine depending on their age, health history, and when they last received a COVID-19 vaccine. For many older adults, another dose may be recommended if it has been about 6 months since the last dose. Some people with weakened immune systems may be eligible at 3 months since their last dose.

Which COVID-19 vaccines will be available?

We plan to offer Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines at this clinic. Availability may depend on supply and eligibility.

Do I need the RSV vaccine every year?

No. The RSV vaccine is not currently an annual vaccine. If you already received an RSV vaccine, you usually do not need another dose at this time.

Do I need the shingles vaccine if I already had shingles?

Yes, many adults are still recommended to receive the shingles vaccine even if they had shingles in the past. Shingrix is a 2-dose vaccine series.

I’ve had a pneumonia vaccine before. Do I need another one?

It depends which pneumonia vaccine you received and when you received it. Our team can help review your record and determine whether another pneumonia vaccine is recommended.

What is the Tdap vaccine?

Tdap helps protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, also known as whooping cough. Adults generally need a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Will insurance cover the vaccines?

Yes. Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are covered regardless of insurance status.

RSV, shingles, pneumonia, and Tdap vaccines are covered at no cost by most insurance plans. If there are any issues with your insurance coverage, our team will contact you before the clinic.
